This Spanish Brig, Pirro, left Barcelona (no date recorded) and purchased 442 enslaved people at an unspecified port in the Bight of Benin (no date recorded). The captain, J. G. Cespeda, sailed the vessel toward Cuba as intended, when it likely landed in August 1828. Only 400 people survived the Middle Passage. For more information, see Map of 1828.
