Voyage Overview
The Portuguese Brig, Aliança das Nações, left Bahia (no date recorded) and purchased 490 enslaved people at Little Popo (no date recorded). The captain, Luís de Silva, sailed the vessel back toward Brazil as intended, when it likely landed in 1826. Only 444 people survived the Middle Passage. For more information, see Map of 1826.
