The Brazilian vessel, Rimerra, left Bahia on 4 August 1821 and purchased 299 enslaved people at Ouidah (no date recorded). The undocumented captain sailed the vessel back toward Brazil as intended in April 1822, when it likely landed at São Salvador da Bahia. Only 277 people survived the Middle Passage.
