The Spanish brig, Llobregat, left Cuba on 20 July 1836 and purchased 490 enslaved people at Porto Novo (no date recorded). The captain, J. A de la Vega, sailed the vessel toward Cuba, when it likely landed in Havana on 9 March 1836. Only 444 people survived the Middle Passage. For more information, see Map of 1836.
