Segunda Tentativa (1832)

Voyage Overview

The Spanish Schooner, Segunda Tentativa, left Havana on 1 October 1831 and purchased 478 enslaved people at Lagos (no date recorded). The captain, J. Garay, sailed the vessel toward Cuba as intended, when it landed on 19 July 1832. Only 430 people survived the Middle Passage. For more information, see Map of 1832.
