Almirante (1830)

Voyage Overview

The Spanish Brigantine, Almirante, left Havana on 21 May 1830 and purchased 640 enslaved people at Ouidah (no date recorded). The captain, Juan Bautista Zavala, sailed the vessel toward Cuba as intended, when it likely landed on 30 January 1831. Only 575 people survived the Middle Passage.
